Following on from their purchase of a new Liming Finlay C1540 Cone crushing plant last November, the new model 694+ screening plant replaces two existing Liming Finlay 683 tracked screens in the processKents have committed subst antial resources in the past twelve months to improving their range & quality of products to customers in the South East and being located on the periphery of Waterford city are now the primary independent supplier of crushed stone products in the areaThe company currently has three generations of the family actively involved in the business and continues to provide a fi rst class service to their customers irrespective of the current economicclimate Tommy Tobin (Operations Manager) at Kent Quarries comments on the recent investments in Liming Finlay equipment: “The new Liming Finlay C1540 cone crusher and 694+ screening plant work very well in our application and gives us the fl exibility to produce grades of material which we didn’t previously offer We have operated various Liming Finlay plants through the years supplied by Finlay Southern and have every confi dence in the product and after sales support which has always been of a very high standard” The new model Liming Finlay 694+ seen here in the new Liming white livery has a number of new and enhanced features when compared to the previous Mk1 model

The new triple deck screen confi guration provides for three full 20’ x 5’ screens, resulting in a well screened quality product to the end user

A combination of quick wedge tensioning, convenient access holes and hydraulic screen tensioning on the bottom deck allows for quick mesh installation and change out times

The fourth product (oversize) conveyor now provides for variable tilt and side slew operation in order to precisely discharge materials be it for recirculation to a secondary crusher or for stockpiling

The new model 694+ also comes with previous optional features now fi tted as standard to include a dust precleaner (scavenger) system on the engine, larger 14’ remote control reject grid, full 20’ x 5’ three deck screenbox with quick wedge and hydraulic tensioning of the relevant screen decks

Finlay (Southern) Ltd, operate from a new facility atDublin Rd, Borrisinossory, Co Laois and  provide parts and service support for any existing Liming Finlay plants
